Hot Afternoon Find

My wife and I, after doing chores around the house all day, decided to geocaching so I could introduce her to what to look for and how to go about geocaching. If you can imagine on a June afternoon in alabama, it was H O T.

HTML and CSS conditional statements

Finding a good tutorial on how to use HTML and CSS conditionals is tough. There are plenty out there but none of them really go in depth on the subject. I have put together what I hope is a complete or almost complete and easy to under stand How-to on the subject of HTML and CSS conditionals.

Why Microsoft is Dying

Everybody knows Microsoft has a big target on its chest saying take me down, but rest assured it will not fall over dead tomorrow … or will it. Most people today are familiar with terms such as Windows XP, Windows 98, MAC, Apple, and even Windows 3.1. However most people are not familiar with terms such as window manager, gnome, KDE, Tiger OS X, but this is about to change and in a big way. Acer (the third largest computer manufacturer in the world, by sales) behind Dell Inc and HP has announced that it will begin to push Linux on its laptops, Gianpiero morbello, vice president of marketing and brands at Acer stated; “We have shifted towards Linux because of Microsoft. Microsoft has a lot of power and it is going to be difficult, but we will be working hard to develop the Linux market.”

Best of the 80′s

The other day I received one of those “pass it around emails”, as I call them, now I usually don’t read these things, but this one brought back a child hood memory or two just by reading the subject line “You Know You Grew Up In the 80′s if”. After reading this “pass it around email” I was laughing so hard I almost fell out of my chair. This email got me to thinking just what were the best memories I have from the eights, … the Rubik’s Cube, The Karate Kid, Van Halen, Murder She Wrote, or Pac-Man … Thus is born my “Best of the 80s” list of everything from movies to hair styles.
