ProRSS

ProRSS is an innovative little RSS reader/ticker. This little guy will allow to to place a news ticker (from a remote feed or local feed) on your website home page in a very stylish manner. There are three styles to choose from. Ticker which fades through each news item one at a time. Horizontal which closely resembles a stock ticker. Vertical which is very similar to movie credits.

Apple Cider Vinegar Chicken

Thoroughly grind the rosemary, thyme, onion, black pepper, and salt into a medium to medium coarse powder. In a small bowl mix together the powder, apple cider vinegar, and water creating a very thin marinade. Prepare chicken by tenderizing with a fork (poke small holes in the chicken). Place chicken on a baking sheet or baking stone (I find that the stone works best). Heat oven to 425 degrees. Apply the marinade to the chicken and place chicken in the oven. Cook for 20 minutes or until chicken is done.

SSH Authentication Using RSA Keys

If your daily routine involves accessing a remote linux server(s), you may have asked yourself how do I remember each password for each server, or I wish I could log-in to this system without a password. Well guess what you can fix it so you have the same password or better yet no password at all using RSA keys.

Time Travel?

Most serious conversations of time travel usually lead to some type of discussion involving quantum physics, laws of relativity, or string theories. These complex mathematical theories will most likely scare away all but the hardcore mathematicians and time travel enthusiast. I however enjoy joining these conversations. I have to admit I don’t really stand a chance arguing physics or laws of relativity with anyone, but I can still hold my own in this conversation. You may be asking yourself, how is that? Well what if I told you that with simple algebra you too can stump even the best minds.

Life As A Computer Wife

Some may wonder what this means, others laugh because they know. If your husband is a programmer/developer or with/on computers you probably understand.Sometimes I find myself competing with a dang computer for my husband’s attention. His idea of spending time with me is me sitting by him while he’s on the computer, but he doesn’t want to talk or anything. How do other women who are to computer men deal with this? Suggestions are welcome.

Life After A Pregnancy

People always talk about how different life will be when a baby comes into your life. but they don’t talk about how a woman is affected after she gives birth. Who knew the joy of having your baby could be overshadowed by a depressed state you find yourself in. A lot of women experience postpartum depression but don’t realize what is taking place until it gets severe. Talking about how I felt and just getting it all out really seemed to help me. Just getting out of the house seemed to help a little. When you feel yourself getting rattled just take some deep breaths and remember it takes time for you to recover and look at your little bundle of joy. Trust me, it’s all worth it.

Do You Ever Wonder….

Do you ever wonder what men would do without women. Who would listen to their bad days. Men like to talk but very rarely like to listen. I wonder who men would talk to if women didn’t exist, because we all know very few men like to listen to others’ problems because they have their own to worry about.
